- Let me introduce myself. My name is Melissa Spencer and I live in the beautiful state of Colorado with my husband and two daughters. I have two German Short-haired Pointers named Hunter and Guinness. I am a teacher most of the day and a photographer on evenings, weekends, and holidays. I have a passion for both of these areas in my life. Through teaching, I am able to share my passion of both writing and and photography with my students. I hope to encourage children of today to enjoy the simplicity of writing and the beauty a photographer can capture through the lens of the camera.
